*Hello Mentors,
I am Ritisha Laungani, a pre-final year student, currently persuing
Information Systems MSc. Tech. at BITS Pilani, Goa, India.
I would like to work with Tux4Kids for Wallpaper Tool Project under GSoC
2012.
Mentioning more about myself- I have a strong background in C as i have
been working with it for the past 2 years now. I have done Socekt
Programming in C, worked with the OpenGL library in C, and dealt with POSIX
standards in C. Apart from this, i have a strong base in OOP(Java mainly),
have done Prolog, UML, Verilog. I im greatly facinated by Data Structures
and Algorithms and Gpraphs and Networks.
I have gone through the project description and i understand that we need
to develop a tool similar to an existing tool (magic tool) but with better
and more features, getting implemented for the overall program. Let me know
if i got the target right.
Also, could anyone here guide me to the resources and the exact classes/api
of the existing code of the magic tool i need to refer for this? Or any
other suggestions regarding how i could approach this project.
