Bill,
I saw your post over at k12ltsp. Since I am really pretty useless when it
comes to contributing at the OS level, I jumped at the chance to help with
the content part of tuxmath. I am a math/physics teacher by trade so I might
be able to give some good input on problem sets at organizing topics. I will
go fire up my real computer and play with commander tux a bit and send back
some ideas. I can also consult with some elementary teachers about their
curriculum. btw, my 3 year old loves tux paint.
