Hello, Tux Math developers, I'm a third grade student from Immanuel Kant Baltic federal university, study at the mathematical department (on branch of Computer Science) and I really want to participate in your project. I want to implement migration to SDL 2.0. Your team interested in me becouse i have good experience in SDL: I worked on my own 2d engine on C++ + SDL 1.2 (not only for games) and have some succes with use it in different spheres (basically as my own instrument of visualization, but also i tried to make some game with it). Now I start the rewriting of my engine on SDL+OpenGL(basic grafic functions are working). Before openGL it was crossplatform. Also I know and use C++ (mostly C) from 1st grade (now I'm 3rd). Have 3 years experience of participating in contests(sport programming), have my own 3d redactor on C# and have some experience in working with unfamiliar code(tons of C# code). Familiar with SVN and TFS, now learning git. My favorite IDE is CodeBlocks. Also i started to learn difference between SDL1.2 and SDL 2.0. Also know HTML and Javascript, have my own little JS game in the internet. I love coding) I want to apply my skills in real opensource project and i like your project. Now I downloaded from git and compiled t4k_common and tux math on Ubuntu. In windows I have problem, application doesn't work on it(Windows 7 x64). Now I study the code. Have some ideas for a few TODO. https://google-melange.appspot.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/vincentolaw/1 Now I have submited proposal. Sorry for late message, I was first involved in the GSoC. Thank you for time, that you spent on me! Yours, Ivan Medyansky. |
