At this point, I'd be inclined to make libt4kcommon a mandatory part of tuxmath and start removing the duplicated variables and functions. As for merging, it may just boil down to saying "commonification is the new master" once we are confident that Wenyuan's work over the summer has been merged into or replicated in commonification.
