[TuxKart-users] sound

I've tuxkart installed on MANY 10, but when my kids wan't to play it there is 
no sound. My souncard is a i810 with the oss sounddriver.
When i pick the alsa soundriver i hear sound but my keyboard goes crazy.
If i installed tuxkart on SUSE 9.1 it works perfectly.
What is the problem.
