THey compile into their local directories, so for example: cd {wherever you un-tar'ed PLIB's examples} cd examples/src/fnt ./fnt_test > 2 Now when I "make" Tuxkart, I get tons of messages saying: undefined > reference to Glut......... See my earlier comment - I guess that GLUT is not installed in the right places. > 3 Since you are running Tuxkart successfully on 8.0, what additional > programs did you need to install that were not included on the install > CDs? Is Plib the only one? Both TuxKart and TuxAQFH rely only on PLIB, OpenGL/Mesa and GLUT. GLUT also depends on GLU - but that should be *it* - nothing else. Many Linux distro's now install all of those things as standard. ----------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------------- Mail : <sjb...@ai...> WorkMail: <sj...@li...> URLs : http://web2.airmail.net/sjbaker1 http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net http://freeglut.sf.net http://toobular.sf.net http://lodestone.sf.net |
