It's starting to look good.  You say 'Barney' but there has to be a
cartoon element in the character.  I look forward to seeing the textured
result which should drop the Barneyness.

I still think he'd look better with his tail sticking out behind the
kart, with the posture either sat down (feet forward, tail backward) or
lying frontways (feet and tail out behind).  That could actually make
things look really interesting with a spikey spine, a tail and big
clawed feet waving out the back of the kart.

But then again I'm not the one creating the model.
