The game should be challenging - but not so hard that you have to play it every evening for a month before you can win a race. > Each driver should have particular strengths suited to particular types > of level so that they are more prone to success on certain levels. If some guys have karts with great maximum speed but crappy accelleration then a course with long straights would favor them over karts with good accelleration but poor straightline speed. On a wiggly course, the reverse might be the case. It should be more intuitive to juggle those kinds of numbers than it is to adjust the AI. ---------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------- HomeEmail: <sjb...@ai...> WorkEmail: <sj...@li...> HomePage : http://www.sjbaker.org Projects : http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- GCS d-- s:+ a+ C++++$ UL+++$ P--- L++++$ E--- W+++ N o+ K? w--- !O M- V-- PS++ PE- Y-- PGP-- t+ 5 X R+++ tv b++ DI++ D G+ e++ h--(-) r+++ y++++ -----END GEEK CODE BLOCK----- |
