I used a pre-downloaded gparted-live iso and picked a bad USB device (flash reader with no card). Now I have apparently 45 messages by sevnz.exe saying No Disk "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive ..." with the option to Cancel, Try Again, Continue. Hitting any of the 3 options gives the same error again but Cancel and Continue increase the file counter.
Expected behavior would be hitting cancel would kill the whole operation.

what's your version of pre-downloaded gparted-live iso? can't you make sure device can be read and write?
The issues if you pick an invalid drive. Clicking on Cancel does the same thing as Continue, it skips the current file and moves on to the next one. So if there are say 46 files, you need to click Cancel or Continue 46 times.
Expected behavior would be:
Cancel - Cancels the whole process
Try Again - Tries the file again
Continue - Skips the file, should be labeled skip
