Dear friends, happy new years. Best wishes for 2018.
Thank you for the hard work you are doing with tuxboot
Just passing a jpg, saw green button for latest win tuxboot is stuck on 0.8.2 and 0.8.3 is release underneath
just used 0.8.3 on my w10pro ( fully update )
tried to burn iso from gparted on a usb stick. Get a windows error mrssag( see seconde jpg ). Tried after that to use the direct download from tuxboot. The gparted image was in both case gparted-live-stable 0.27.0-1-686
the error occur when running syslinux.exe on F ( F us my usb stick )
The windows error message is saying: no associated programme associated with this files ... the two following jpg.
The usb stick is burn, but not bootable.
Tuxboot run as an administrator.

I'm creating everything in Windows fine (downloaded image, ISO or ZIP) but none of them are creating a bootable USB stick. I would've thought that for the most popular OS on the market, making sure the Windows version works fine, would've been a priority.

Hi, I believe I have the answer - sort of. I get the error shown if usb drive does not have a formated partition. Also, Windows 10 creates GPT partitions (and wont let you convert them to MBR). Tuxboot seems work only with MBR partitions. Most brand new USB drives are have MBR partitions for better compatiblity. Hope this helps.
