I have an old 100 GB external hard disk that I plan to use with tuxboot. However before I format it (from NTFS to FAT32) I wanted to confirm that tuxboot will work on it. In all documentation I only see USB flash drives mentioned.
Can someone please confirm before I nuke my NTFS partition?
thx
AJ

I have 64GB flash drive and work well. for your question, 100 GB and FAT32 should be work, but is't bootable? Does your firmware/bios support usb disk(not flash) as boot device?

Thanks for the response Thomas!
Yes my firmware supports USB disk drives for booting. So I am good on that. I will have to convert the NTFS 100 GB to FAT32.
I am hoping it will work well. I will let you folks know how it goes after I try it.
