We have a 'tree' structure that we use quite alot in
our application and mmcache_put() fails to add it to
the cache for some reason. mmcache_put() dies and so
does the PHP process that is running it.
Our trees consist of four classes:
rootNode extends baseNode
branchNode extends baseBode
leafNode extends baseNode
A root node or branch node may contain many other
branch and leaf nodes as members, so the tree can be
the rootNode also contains an array of references to
every node in the tree, so we can traverse the trees
very quickly, each node also has a reference to this
array index on the rootNode.
If a tree is var_dumped it can take a very long time to
output the data, as the index of references causes much
recursion, however in use it is a very fast structure
and is easy to use, solving alot of issues we have with
representing data in heirachies.
Do you know of any reason why this would not be allowed
in the mmcache?
thank you very much,
