Hi,

I use MMCache 2.3.15 [shm:sysvipc sem:spinlock],
PHP 4.3.1 [ZE 1.3.0], Apache [Apache 1.3.27], Linux
2.4.20

and get segmentation fault in error.log when

I call

<?php
mmcache_cache_page($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].'?
GET='.serialize($_GET), 30);
echo time();
phpinfo();
?>

without mmcache_cache_page(...) it runs as usual.

[Tue Jun 10 21:00:19 2003] [notice] child pid 12431 exit
signal Segmentation fault (11)

PS: The progress of turck mmcache is simply amazing!
session cache, ttl, ..., and now CONTENT Cache!!!

    HINT:

    mmcache_cache_output('test', 'print time()." Hello";', 30);

    WORKS, but not

    mmcache_cache_page($_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].'?
    GET='.serialize($_GET), 30);

    or

    mmcache_cache_page('test567567567', 30);

    PS: I know that :

    $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].'?GET='.serialize($_GET)

    is nothing but a key.

    I know that this function does not expect a
    URL / file-location to open that given file and
    cache its output.

    Please try the version from sourceforge CVS. The release
    2.3.15 has a bug with "deflate" compression. May be you
    have a result of it. Let me know if CVS version faults too.

    Now the bug is fixed. It was a PHP 4.3.1 specific BUG. The
    fixed version is available in sourceforge CVS and will be
    available in 2.3.17 release.
