Eduardo, Not sure if anyone else responded or not. I don't have time to assist with your project, but the code is open source so if you decide to use it (or parts of it) for this customer's website, more power to you. :) P.S. The code is a bit of a mess since it's not MVC. Also, there are probably boatloads of SQL injections that need to be fixed. I only hacked on it a bit while I was at school. In terms of security there are probably plenty of vulnerabilities in it. I would be sure to run the daemon as a non-privileged user and only on a trusted network. Also if you have any patches please feel free to post them on sourceforge. -- Philip Lowman |

The main driver in my work on Tunez in 2003-2004 was primarily it being used in a shared college/office environment, prior to that it had already gone somewhat defunct. Once I got out of school future development became less of a possibility and my work on Tunez basically just stopped. I wish I had tried a little harder to find someone at school to actively continue development but my last semester flew by in quite a blur and that never really happened, unfortunately. I think a few people are still subscribed to this mailing list. If anyone wants to takeover Tunez development all they really have to do is speak up, I think. -- Philip Lowman |

Back in the days when it was actively developed we did discuss playlists somewhat but the support was never added. I did do some experimental stuff with allowing the admin to force songs to a particular location in the queue.
