[6bed4-devel] 6bed4 at RIPE65, draft status, anycast coming up

Hello,

The 6bed4 tunnel will be presented at RIPE65, the European meeting
of core network engineers.  It is scheduled on Tuesday morning in
a session of 3 lectures:

Tuesday, 25 September 09:00 – 10:30
Plenary

* SLAACer or Prisoner of State
  Paul Ebersman, Infoblox

* RFC 5549
  Stefan Plug and Arien Vijn, AMS-IX

* IPv6 for the Masses — with 6bed4
  Rick van Rein, OpenFortress

Those of you visiting RIPE65 are quite welcome.  I will be there
all week to talk about the tunnel.


By the way... I am aware that the v01 spec expired last week.  It
seemed useless to me to prolong it with the potential of a lot of
feedback next week.


Also by the way... RIPE has reserved a /48 for 6bed4, as an
experimental range for anycast.  We can use this for the coming
year.  We also have an anycast-ready /24 in IPv4, so expect a
new daemon in the coming days, as soon as this infrastructure
is in place on our first node.  After that, we can handle any
additional node without changing addresses.
