Known bugs

Release date
As we near our release date, we are hard at work fixing bugs. If you encounter any new bugs not listed below, please feel free to contact by email, facebook, or any of our public platforms. The more we find and fix prior to release, the better polished our release will be. We aim to provide release candidates prior to Christmas and will publish an official release right around Christmas.

Known Issues
* base-files package update breaks networking, wayland, and x11
* Steam Installer broke with latest update
* ClamAV keeps overwriting custom configuration files
* random default://browser shortcut keeps populating in taskbar with new user setup. - this was a remnant of rekonq set as default browser. It was removed from /etc/skel but keeps appearing. We are working on fixing this and it will be fixed prior to official release

NOTES:
Please keep in mind that TTOS Linux is NOT a live distribution. It is intended to be used on bare metal systems, preferably with a GPU (NVIDIA or AMD). This is why the Installer is set to full screen mode by default. The Install ISO actually runs a TTOS Linux themed Debian 12 Live image in order to install a TTOS Linux system. The post installation script handles cleanup and touch up. This was our solution to adding UEFI support to the latest build. Our old in house build system was written in 2002 and did not support UEFI. Despite attempts to update it, UEFI broke BIOS install images. This new way of installing it solves the problems of our aging build system.
