A possible follow up step to 805379 (removal of
task descriptions as a switchable option) we could
implement
(as a switchable option of course ;-) that Tasks are
removed
completely if on archive step they are found in a special
category.
Why this?
The way I use TT (see attached screen shot) for example
is that I have a few number of categories for my tasks
plus:
a DONE category.
As soon as a task is finished I move from its current
category
to category DONE.
This way I always have a clear list of TODO tasks in
all my categories as the DONEs goto DONE which provides an
easy overview off the tasks as I only want to see the
unfinished ones and no longer bother with the finished
ones.
An Archive step of the proposed kind would
a) still write the unfinished tasks to file but not remove
their description in TT nor reset their hours
b) write to file all done tasks and remove them completely
from DONE category making this category an empty one
after each archive step.
A possible option entry could be:
[x] remove tasks completely from a special category
named: [DONE ]
If the box is not checked the special name field would
be grayed out thus having no effect if the user uses a
category of the same name.

Seems I can't attach a screenshot file to my request :-(
Or it is slow and will show up later...
Any hints on that?
