Hi, I have been trying to get in touch with the admins of the project Timesheet.php http://www.timesheetphp.com/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/tsheet/ I am finding Timesheet.php a very handy tool and am using it pretty much every day. However, the comments on Sourceforge and the lack of recent development point to this being a dead project. Is this the case? It would be a real shame if development stopped on this project, as said it really is very useful. I am thinking of forking this project to begin active development - obviously everything will be release GPL. Due to work commitments I can't see this happening until sometime early next year. If you are the admin for this project can you please get in touch and let me know if this project is still active, and if so how I can get involved. Many thanks for any help Rob |

Hi, I have been using Timesheet.php for a number of weeks now, and am finding it pretty useful. I've had a good look on the internet to see if this project is still being maintained: * http://www.timesheetphp.com/ * https://sourceforge.net/projects/tsheet/ * http://code.google.com/p/timesheetphp/ * http://freshmeat.net/projects/timesheet.php/ * http://www.advancen.com/products/timesheet.html And sent a couple of emails off to the listed developers. However, no response. Is this project still being maintained? If so how can I contribute? Many thanks in advance Rob |

Hi list, I'm evaluating timesheet systems and have just finished setting up timesheet.php v1.1.8 -- I had a painful run-in with registers_global being off by default in php 4.3, and I also had to make a small fix to timezone.inc (setlocale was still using string "LC_ALL") to get it up & running. (patch is possible, but prolly out-dated by now) I'm guessing the codebase has come a long way since last November, and that these and other issues have been fixed; I was hoping someone could summarize where development is at, how stable the CVS trunk is, and how close to the next release the project is? Thanks in advance, -Steve |

Although I am not fully conversant in the exact design idea of the authentication, I have just found an interesting situation whilst using Konqueror. I logged in as a user. After browsing around, I wanted to login as admin. As I have removed the admin page link from my installation, I typed the link to admin.php myself. This worked of course. The interesting thing is that when I lated clicked the logout link admin pages, it instantly and automatically log me back as the user I had started as. I haven't investigated this, but I wanted to get this on record for when it is time to kick logging out into touch. Regards TrippyZ |

Dominic, I have now got CVS sorted out, and it is ready to roll. In the next few hours, I will be correcting a couple of minor errors I have noted, and commiting them. (Start simple!) After some trial and tribulation, I have imported 1.1.6 into CVS. Its path is /tsheet/timesheet.php/ Unfortunately, whilst trying to comprehend how to import, I managed to upload to /tsheet/1.1.6 and /tsheet/timesheet.php/timesheet.php/1/1/6/. I will try to get these other paths removed this evening, but may have to contact sf support to get that done. Are you familiar with CVS? Need any help? Regards Trippyz PS Looking forward to actually doing some coding! _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com |
