Hi,
Newbie Ubuntu user here, so sorry if my details aren't incredibly technical.
I came here looking to find out if TSCLIENT could do something similar to the logon-without-gnome-session (as requested here: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1971500&group_id=192483&atid=941577 )...
Although I whole heartedly agree that this is a great feature, I don't believe that the TSCLIENT is the app which needs to change... And in my instance, i'm also not sure if it's the TSCLIENT or the GNOME/X which needs the "feature".
I would like the option of being able to lock a TS session to a workspace - using the maximum available GNOME/X desktop space. For example, I open my TS session in workspace #2, and use other apps in windows 1, 3 and 4. It would be so nice, if after loading in full-screen mode, I had the "application switcher" available so I could switch between workspaces without having to <ctrl> + <alt> + <enter> to drop from full screen (and loose some "visible" window).
Alternatively, a bit more flexibility with the available resolutions would help - something similar to the way virtualbox allows automatic resolution changes when you have the client installed on the XP client...
Just an idea which would make TS much more user friendly (to me at least)...
