Cautious yes... When the first version of GRUB2 was published, I took a
glance at the code and due to the modular design, it was not easily
possible to adapt the measurement functionality in all of the file system
modules.
However, I think it's possible, but we need to check the assembly part to
verify how much space we have left in the MBR code.
But currently I can't estimate when we will start with our work on
TrustedGRUB2.
