i am currently trying to compile the TPM software stack for a ARM platform.
I was able to build the TPM emulator and Trousers, and could successfully
test it, but now i am stuck with configuring TPM-Tools (version 18.104.22.168).
Configure was invoked with:
./configure --enable-debug --enable-cross-compile --enable-static
CC=arm-linux-gcc AS=arm-linux-as AR=arm-linux-ar RANLIB=arm-linux-ranlib
STRIP=arm-linux-strip LD=arm-linux-ld CXX=arm-linux-c++ CPP=arm-linux-cpp
It stops with the following error:
checking for Tspi_Context_Create in -ltspi... no
configure: error: tss lib not found: libtspi.so
I do not understand why tpm-tools is searching for shared libraries when i
configured it to use static ones. As i did it the same way with trousers, i
did not get a libtspi.so in trousers/src/tspi/.libs/, just the libtspi.a,
which i copied to ../tpmtools/libcrypto/lib and the according header files
Trousers was built with "--enable-debug --with-gui=none
Including libraries that way was working fine for TPM emulator and Trousers.
How can i configure TPM tools to use a static libtspi?
