We did not create this patch although it works for us.
This patch is part of the Redhat Rawhide RPM which we
had to use in combination with my Debug patch (already
submitted) to get tripwire to compile using gcc version
3.2 20020822 (Red Hat Linux Rawhide 3.2-4).

    The reason is is www.tripwire.com
When people start a business, they have no more time for
    open source development.

    Superceded by Paul's autoconf changes.

... what do you do when you get the same compile error AFTER
    applying the patch...
Does any of this crap work anymore

    Thanks tripwire.com!

    Hey guys, relax okay?

As the news item says, I am preparing a release, and as the
close comment for that bug said, I am preparing a new
release, and so closing out old issues.

If I can get a couple of people with subversion/autoconf
experience to help me test the new repository and source, I
    will make the release. Patience.
