    System: Linux e 2.6.27-8-eeepc #1 SMP Sun Nov 16 12:02:12 MST 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
Tripwire version from apt-cache: Filename: pool/universe/t/tripwire/tripwire_2.3.1.2.0-12_i386.deb

I have 23 files that are complaining "Value too large for defined data type". Each of these files is either a video file or iso image and in each case the file is >2GB in size.

Is there something I need to do to turn on large file support?

    Regards

    Paul

did you try just ignoring the size attribute for these files or the entire directory?

No; but then I'd have to turn it off for all directories since large files are scattered around the filesystem (it's a file server).

Set the policy to +C-everythingelse, deleted the database and re-created with --init, and tripwire still complains.

I also faced this issue. And did not find fix of this.

Is there any tripwire version which is having fix for this.
