Well, IRC is the only real way I can get around at work other than e-mail or a Web Forum (Bulletin Board). My Site has a Forum http://ds-perl.net/ If you want, set up a username there and we can converse that way. KInda sounds like I'm promoting my site, heh. Any other ideas? Benjamin Smith -----Original Message----- From: Indira Virk [mailto:ind...@ya...] Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2002 1:58 AM To: Smith, Benjamin; 'ws...@me...' Cc: 'tri...@li...'; 'ili...@ma...' Subject: Re: FW: [Trinityos-perlwebmin] Task progress ? I'm not sure abt IRC because I can't get it to work from my office... also since I'm in India I think the time difference will not make it possible for me to always be present for the discussions. I would suggest we stick to the mailing list or alternatively someone should record the IRC discussions and mail it so that those of us who could not be present can comment on it later. --- "Smith, Benjamin" <Ben...@us...> wrote: > I think this sounds like a good idea. Hi. If we have to use a forum may as well use one on Sourceforge. Anyway, for now I think IRC should be fine... So we should go along with Walid's suggestion of 5th June 20:00 GMT. But someone will have to guide me regarding the which server to connect to, which channels etc. since this is the first time I'll be using IRC. Thanks. Regards, Indira Virk. --- "Smith, Benjamin" <Ben...@us...> wrote: > Well, IRC is the only real way I can get around at > work other than e-mail or > a Web Forum (Bulletin Board). > > My Site has a Forum http://ds-perl.net/ > > If you want, set up a username there and we can > converse that way. > > KInda sounds like I'm promoting my site, heh. > > Any other ideas? > > Benjamin Smith > > -----Original Message----- > From: Indira Virk [mailto:ind...@ya...] > Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2002 1:58 AM > To: Smith, Benjamin; 'ws...@me...' > Cc: 'tri...@li...'; > 'ili...@ma...' > Subject: Re: FW: [Trinityos-perlwebmin] Task > progress ? > > > I'm not sure abt IRC because I can't get it to work > from my office... also since I'm in India I think > the > time difference will not make it possible for me to > always be present for the discussions. Are we on for IRC session on 5th Jun? I suggested shifting the time from 20:00 GMT to sometime like 9:00 or 10:00 GMT. Is there anyone in here that has a host that supports PHP who wouldn't mind allowing me to test the deployment of the Trinity Website/WebApp on their server? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Ulp! Just realised 20:00 GMT would be 2 AM for me! Can we change that time to 9:00 or 10:00 GMT? Trinity channel will have be created, right? Can we have it on a DALnet server? I'm not able to connect to any of the others.
