Trike 1.5.07 (in spreadsheet form) is available for download here: http://www.octotrike.org/tools.shtml#spreadsheet It fixes all known bugs. Well, all known bugs that are fixable in Excel. I believe it to be stable, so I'm calling it a release. It also has a pretty cool new feature: You can now aggregate several security objective entries into a single named group on the Use Case Details tab. You would want to do this if you need to describe the prohibited actions differently for different attackers. E.g. Internet Attacker should not be able to edit posts, but Registered User should not be able to edit *others'* posts; really this is the same security objective, to prevent unauthorized edits. To use the new functionality, use a period in the # column on the Security Objectives tab. E.g. Post Integrity.1, Post Integrity.2. The Use Case Details tab will treat everything with a matching prefix before the period as a single security objective. E.g. Post Integrity. Brenda |
