* Disable Always On Top
A splash screen shouldn't be always on top. If you want to switch to a different application while Tribler is loading, you don't want Tribler's splash screen to cover most of your screen estate. For example, take a look at Word 2000. When you start it, it shows a splash screen, but when you click on another window, the splash screen loses focus and is no longer the top window.

* Add a progress bar
It would be nice if the user could see the loading progress. Examples: Photoshop, Azureus.
