When rendering a longer text with (automatic) linebreaks using a text item in birt, it gets split up into multiple one-line text items, which makes the resulting Powerpoint file hard to edit or copy from.

I would also be interested in any existing workarounds. Is there any way to output multiline text runs in PPT?
