trek Content Management System / News: Recent posts

An initial release of trek has been made so that you can all get the feel of the new design. It still lacks many basic features, and is far from reaching a stable version 0.1 just yet.

The subversion repository is now up to date with the latest version of trek. There's no installation routine yet, but sql files are provided in the installation directory that should create a working database structure.

We're pretty happy with the progress of the new software, so hopefully within a few months there should be a useful working beta version.

bb44 has changed its name to 'trek'. It's to do with fitting in to something else I'm working on, and reflects the massive amount of changes I've made to the code following lessons learned with bb44. Hopefully the svn repository will be updated soon with the new code, and file releases will be made shortly afterwards.

bb44 has changed taken the opportunity to change its version control system to subversion. The CVS repository will no longer be available from the homepage, nor will its content be updated.

The bb44 web content management system made its first release today. The release is an alpha version that still contains a few bugs, and it is missing some functionality that will be present in the final version 0.1 release. However, we'd really appreciate user feedback on what we've got so far. We hope to release further alpha versions over the coming weeks.

The first stumbling workings of the bb44 content management system have been added to sourceforge over the past couple of weeks.

We're nowhere near ready to release just yet, but all the files are in the CVS repository, so if anyone's interested, take a look.

If all goes well, we're hoping to have an alpha release out by some time in late February 2006. Subscribe to the bb44-releases mailing list if you want to be notified of new releases.
