I've created a custom 404 error page for treebase.  If you've got better wording, please send it to me and I'll update it.
Example: http://www.treebase.org/cgi-bin/treebase.pl?TaxonID=T31183&Submit=Taxon+ID

An alternative wording could be: 
Sorry, Page, not found.
