Enter the submission, click on "Matrices" form the toolbox to see a list of matrices. Next to each matrix is a red X mark. Clicking that deletes it. Same idea for the trees (you can either delete a whole tree block or enter a tree block and delete trees individually -- when the last tree is deleted, the containing tree block gets deleted automatically).
