That's exactly what I mean.

Just to clarify, we are talking about the development server.   We do  
strive to commit only buildable code, don't we?  An occasional mishap,  
though regretful, isn't a tragedy, is it?

Sure, we can talk about this when Jon is back on Monday.  Jon was  
supportive of this idea, though.
