TreeBASE2 is running on 8ball, except for known bugs. The previous problem was when DB2 was not longer working on gigahertz -- it's now running on bebop, so it should be fine. I mean that I don't think Youjun has privileges to access 8ball and Rutger is swamped with getting TreeBASE running on treebasedb-dev.nescent.org ; hence I can't vouch for the frequency with which the deployment on 8ball will get updated from changes committed to SF. With Mark and Fran gone from SDSC, we are losing our ability to affect changes there, and he warns us that there is no guarantee that bebop will persist. Hence the move to nescent.org is top priority and bug-fixing will resume in ernest when that's running. In the meantime, however, there are workarounds for both bug #2861595 and bug #2854613. bp |
