#175 Vertical window size is often incorrect

After resizing the main window, the new window size is printed. When
resizing only vertically (easiest to do with the window edge nestled
against the side of the screen), the window size is usually incorrect.

The effect is most noticeable when shrinking a large distance, then
growing by just a few pixels a few times. The number of vertical lines
printed will continue to go downward even as you're growing the window.
