New Beta, new algorithms

After 2 years with a stable working version, we have a new beta version with a neater implementation and some useful new options. This new version should be a little lighter on memory, and just as fast / faster than version 1.0 in most cases. It also has options to crop / pad matrices to desired size, which also means badly-shaped matrices can be handled.

transpose - reclassified as stable.

After continued use without any problems, transpose has been reclassified from Beta to Stable (N.B. This is not a new version - the code is unchanged).

Also noteworthy - the unmodified source code compiles on Windows with mingw.

transpose (version 0.1 - Beta) released

The first release of transpose (version 0.1 - Beta) is now available. Transpose (all lower case for project name) is a small command-line program for transposing text files / streams. A useful addition to the other command-line tools for manipulating text.

Released as Beta, though transpose has been very reliable for the author.
