I was very surprised when I looked at the archive of the mailing list. *shock* There where several messages. *shock* I had wondered why I never received any feedback from transAuction users. Well after about a hour of poking around I discovered why: My email provider no longer holds the domain for the email address I used. This took effect around 2 or so years ago. And I had not updated the information. I am sorry for this over site. I am going to read over the archives an see what I have missed. And have updated my email information add hopefully all will be corrected soon. Craig Hurley transAuction developer |

This release is still focusing on the install utility adding commandline switches. http://transauction.sourceforge.net/docs-install.html lists the options. The About window also got a few clean ups. |

A little late for the announcement but life got in the way. This version actually gets the program to the point that I wanted it. Searching the "old DB" with a Viewer that actually works. And fullfilling my side of the LGPL license by displaying the license for within the program ( About Window). I also finally had some question answered about Apple OS X, and as far as I can tell transAuction will install and run on OS X with no changes. This means, acording to the TODO roadmap this is version 0.2 but I didn't find that out until I had uploaded it as 0.1.4 . Oh well. I have a few changes in line and the next version will be the official 0.2. What will be coming in the next few releases in no order: 1) A date format. ( Don't worry I will do everything I can to keep conpatibility with your current data). 2) Complete rewrite of setup, plus renaming it to install-TA.pyw 3) entries not excepting the wrong data. This would be for date and number/currency entries. Thought 'EBAY NUMBER' will be left alone because I don't know if this is being used with other online auctions and don't want to assume their id scheme. Thanks for tring out transAuction and I hope that it's usefull for you. If you have any comments, criticisms, and/or suggetions drop a line. :) |

0.1.3 is out (though as of this message sourceforge has not updated yet) Added new "Old DB viewer" fixed "New record" save slowdown added tacky highlighting |
