#5 distorted sound?

We've been using Transcriber for awhile now with no
problem, but recently on one of our OSX-Panther Macs
the sound files sound distorted and repeat themselves
abnormally when using Transcriber. This hasn't been
happening before, and the file sounds fine outside of
Transcriber. Any ideas?

I have the same problem and couldn't fix it. Has anybody found a solution? It's quite urgent, please :-)
