I spend a lot of time as a non-admin user on a system with Windows
clients. I don't have sufficient rights to install Cygwin. I can,
however, save binaries in my homespace; thus I run a lot of MinGW-type
utilities, such as PuTTY.
I have also, in the past (1-2 years ago), run Cygwin utilities by
having the executables and cygwin.dll in PATH. I'm wondering: is it
possible to do this with the latest/most-stable Cygwin SSH tools?
If not, why? If so,
* where can I find suitable binaries? (Verified references only,
Note that I only need a tramp-suitable client; I don't need a
daemon/service, X forwarding, or the like.
* The only binary I've found is for b20--is that too downlevel? I'd
like to get one built for 1.x (I believe 1.3 is newest)
