There is a package named locate.el. [1] It simply calls
the shell command named locate and produces a dired
buffer. If you could make something similar work within
TRAMP that might be useful. The same goes for lpq.el.
[2] and some other similar packages
Besides it would be cool if I could open a file from
machine XX and print it using lpr at the same machine
XX.
Having said this, I really appreciate what you guys are
doing. TRAMP rules :)
