Greetings TraderMissions Subscribers! (All three of you :) I'm proud to announce the release of TraderMissions 0.2.0. It would have happened on Saturday, but I decided to test a portion of the code I hadn't really stressed before, and so discovered horrifying crippling bugs which needed to be fixed before the release. So I can say that this release is completely free of horrifying crippling bugs(*)! TM 0.2 is the "stable" branch from now until I appoint another one. This means that your saved games, any scenarios or plugins you might make - all if it is forward compatible. Ideally, I'll keep everything compatible when 1.0 is rolled out - at the very least I'll provide people with a script they can use to convert to a new version. So feel free to add onto the game without fear that your addon will become obsolete. And, since no announcement would be complete without a dump from the changelog, here's what's new: - Timeouts added to random missions - Ships that follow the player can now be limited to certain sectors - Initial GCC3.2 compatability - Ship tradeins, transfer of mission-related cargo - Upper limit to indivdual addons - Regenerative shielding - A number of dialogs now allow double-clicks. - Down key now acts as a brake. - Saving game gives feedback - Some buttons can now be activated by the enter key - Random Mission Substitution now works on all fields - New intro screen Enjoy! ===== -- Roger Ostrander, TraderMissions maintainer http://tradermissions.sf.net __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
