No

We work in a multi-lingual team and each of our users have their own language set.
The problem is that the email-notifications are only sent in one language and that is the language of the creator.

Well I'm German and I can read English too. But my English colleague can't understand German at all.

So the best thing to do is do have the email sent to the recipients grouped by language. So everyone gets the email in their language.

Or the other option would be to define a global email language that is applied as soon as there are different languages in the recipient list.

Yes, I guess you are right. In the past the language was only set by the users browser preferred settings, so the server could not know which user wanted to receive e-mails in which language. In the meantime however users can permanently set their preferred language in their profile. In this case the system could send e-mails in that language.

We will include this feature in the next version of Track+.

    Thanks.

Yes, you are right. In the past, user locale was solely determined by the users preferred browser settings. This excluded the possibility to determine preferred language settings for users that were not logged in. However, this is possible now and we will change the behaviour as you have described.
