Hello, I am interested in using tptest in a closed LAN environment. For this purpose i would have to set-up a local tpserver. So the questions are: - Is tptest servers available to download. - Can i run tptest server on windows. This one didn't fail, but produced the same weird output. This was not on the same host, but actually over the net: prompt> ./tptestclient -m ta samehiddenhost.se 1634 TCP Send: -2147483648 bps (-2147483648 bit/s) TCP Recv: 684291619 bps (684.29 Mbit/s) Forgot basic info last time: tptest-3.1.7 from sourceforge.net, freebsd4-hosts, gbit-network this time. tptest-server has insanely increased limits in the tptest.conf. More info available on demand. -- Some mornings, it's just not worth gnawing through the straps... |

I tried running it to localhost just to measure loopback performance and go= t: ./tptestclient -m ta hidden-hostname.se 1634 Test failed. Hello Jens, The tptestserver is quite simple and only supports some basic features.=20 It will log errors to syslog (facility local0) so you can configure your syslog to=20 keep local0.* in a separate file and look there for errors and other activity.
