#2 specify source address
I have a need to specify the source address. This is built into the ping in Cisco IOS:

This would be helpful if the host you tping from has more than one IP address or more than on interface. Also you could specify a different host's IP address as the source and use something like Wireshark to monitor the echo replies. This would be very useful in network troubleshooting, and also would add to the value of using tping as an ICMP learning tool.
