A number of people (including myself) have experienced problems installing the design-time BPL file with the message (effectively) "Could not find the run-time BPL file". I gather that the bug is that the instructions suggest that the BPL files (along with the DCU and DCP files) can be installed anywhere when in fact the developer installed them in the "usual" locations. As a result, he/they did not set the installation up to look in the location of installation for the AsyncProc.BPL file when installing the design-time package.

Whether the above is true or not, when I copied my AsyncPro.BPL file from my BPL folder to the one used most of the time, the Bin folder in by Delphi installation in C:\Program Files, the design-time package installed without problems.
