I had to create / apply this patch while I was building RPMs for openSUSE.

Now it compiles. (one part get's removed, as it seems not used and failed anyhow, others are just type casts)

    sorry, that's actually not (yet) the gcc4.3 patch; this one here is needed for 64bit compilation...

    the gcc4.3 will follow soon.
