I have been working on a real login system for this script.
I used this script and it has worked out very nicely..
    http://youhack.me/2010/04/01/building-a-registration-system-with-email-verification-in-php/
This also has allowed me to write a user control panel. Each user can change their email, password, edit their bracket before submission is closed. I have even thought about avatar's and pm's for each user.

The passed few days I have been toying with a template system.
I tried out http://www.smarty.net, it seems to work out great and you can also implement a language system using this script.

There is also Twig http://twig.sensiolabs.org/. The new phpBB 3.1 will be using this system.

Although both of these work great, but they are way too complex for this simple script.

I found a thread about the current phpBB 3.0 template system.
    https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1557455
This seems to be very lite and extremely simple..
so this is what I'm going to use!!

Next I'm going to rip out phpBB 3.0's language system. This will allow language packs to be created. Each user can select witch language they want through a User control panel.

I will keep you all up to date.
