Now I get the login screen but I cannot add user. I get the message: Username is not available, when hitting the "check" button and I do not see any error on the webserver log (beside warnings of php usage).
I have a directory owned by apache to which theuser_root_path variable points to.
Any ideas what else to configure?

I installed version 1.5.
When I try to hit the URL I get a blank screen and I get the following message:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: domdocument in /var/www/html/mail/iphone/index/clist.inc on line 37
I found out why:
I had to turn on DOM, I am with CentOS and I just added php-xml rpm:
as root:
yum install php-xml
