Toucan 1.2.2 Released

Introducing Toucan 1.2.2 - A feathered friend for the Palm.
Toucan 1.2.2 is a bug fix release for Toucan 1.2. Bugs were found in both the main Toucan script (toucan.tcl) and in toucanLib1.2, so both elements will need to be reinstalled. Details of the bugs can be found in the Toucan documentation.

A distribution of Toucan 1.2.2 is available for GNU/Linux as a GZIP-compressed tarfile. A distribution of Toucan 1.2.2 is available for MS Windows as a WINZIP compressed file.

Toucan 1.2.2 pre-release CVS commit performed

A CVS commit of the pre-release of Toucan 1.2.2 has been performed. This commit contains additional bug fixes and an update of the Toucan documentation to reflect the bug fixes performed in the Toucan 1.2.x series. Testing in the GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows environments has been performed and a formal release of Toucan 1.2.2 will be made on January 13, 2003. After this event, work will commence on Toucan 1.3.

Latest CVS commit of Toucan now available

The latest CVS commit of Toucan has just been performed. This commit contains another bug fix and an update of the Toucan documentation to reflect the bug fixes performed in the Toucan 1.2.x series. After some additional testing in the Microsoft Windows environment, and barring any resulting bugs that require fixing, a formal release of Toucan 1.2.2 will be made. Toucan IDE is now on SourceForge

Toucan, the integrated development environment (IDE) for Ashok Nadkarni's Palm Tcl interpreter, is now on SourceForge. The new Toucan home page is at http://toucan.sourceforge.net and the Toucan SourceForge summary page is at http://sourceforge.net/projects/toucan/ (Of course, if you're reading this news, you've found it!). The original Toucan home page at http://home.attbi.com/~maccody/ is still present, but it will shortly be replaced by a general information page. It is strongly recommended that anyone wishing current information and downloads should go to the Toucan home page on SourceForge.... read more
