Since a couple of weeks I'm working on Vista. In XP I was a great fan of the CVS columns - and I'm really missing them in Vista.
Since it seems impossible to add them to the explorer-dialog, I think it would be interesting to add a dialog-box looking quite like the "Add content" one - displaying all files in the folder whith their version, sticky-tag, state, file-type, edit-options, etc.
Additionnal features :

  • Sortable by clicking on the column-header
  • A right-click on a file would open the Windows context-menu,
  • Possibility (or mandatory?) to hide all the files to ignore

Another "nice to have" feature would be to be able to apply a filter on each column ("only display modified files", "only display Format Texte/ASCII", ...), like the auto-filter in Excel.
