For many version (i guess all i used) i've a very serious problem concerning dropping tables. Maybe this a caching problem, but i'm not sure. There is absolutely no problem if i use sqlplus or any other DBA-Tool. OK, this a sample description of the problem: If i have a create script for some tables, starting with dropping the tables first it will likley run for the first time, but any other run will result in lot of errors. Right now i had this problam again. I tracked it down to one example, which may describe one of the problems: If i only drop an single table i get an "Query executed" and no error-message. If i try to create the table afterwars i get an "Object already exist error". Also an "select * from table" will work. My current version is tora 1.3.9.2 compiled with Oracle 8i, the Datebase where i've this Problem is 9i. Thx, Jan |
