how can i change day display format on Tora Client??

I would like to change day display format by default (YYYY-MM-DD) to DD/MM/YYYY. I have tried
"ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT", but I want to permanently change day format on the Tora client.

Edit -> Preferences -> Database Settings -> Oracle -> Default Date Format ?
